‘Digital Collections from The , From Tate to the Louvre, the world’s best museums and galleries online | The Guardian (9 April 2013)

Certainly an interesting article, but I do have one significant point of contention: the author’s claim that the Met has the ‘least savvy’ website.

While the site is not a paradigm of usability (which many museums are not), it does offer up some great (freely accessible) digital resources such as their ‘Digital Collections from The Metropolitan Museum of Art Libraries’ (http://libmma.contentdm.oclc.org/) and ‘The Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History’ (http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/), both of which warrant a perusal at the very least.
